Education for Enterprise is a community partnership creating a dynamic learning process that develops enterprising students.
The Future for Gateway at Aotea College
Gateway at Aotea College has been extremely successfull so far. In the coming years Gateway hopes to keep growing the number of students that are participating gateway as a subject as it has been so successful in the past.
Here is the goals that the Administrators have set for 2009:
- Growing gateway from 50 students to 75 students a 50% increase
Next year they also hope to get the "Youth apprenticeship scheme" up and running. This means that students will be able to get paid for the work they do while they are at Gateway. This will result in Gateway becoming more popular at Aotea College. Its clear to see that the future of Gateway is bright at Aotea College.
